Evolution is an exhibition showcasing the work and history of the architecture studio Grimshaw. Starting in London in 2019, the exhibition has gone on a tour globally to cities like Liverpool, Dubai, Shanghai, Melbourne, Sydney, Los Angeles and New York.
Each location has required a bespoke layout and environmental design as well as tailored content for each region such as new panels, videos, models, etc.
The exhibition was created in collaboration with the Royal Institute of British Architecture (RIBA), who also featured the work of Grimshaw in their magazine – RIBA J – the month the exhibition was launched. This required the research, art direction and design of the major feature for that month.
Other elements and applications include banners, information brochures, environmental graphics, videos and AR implementation throughout the panels and varied elements in each location.
